Post Shift Podcast #1 - Education and Furthering it

In my very first episode of the Post Shift Podcast, I chat about the importance of education at any age. In 2018, I headed back to Camosun College to study for my Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management. A lot of people asked “why would I go back to school to do what I already do?”, but the amount of knowledge that I learnt, even 10% in some classes is more than I knew when I walked in. In late 2019, I studied and achieved my Certified Spirits Specialist and the plan in 2020 is to do some AUTOCAD and interior designing course to bolster my work in restaurant design along with some further HR Studies. Education should always be paramount regardless of your age, experience or knowledge.
