He is the man behind award winning bars like The Coldroom, El Pequeno and Parliament along with much much more. WHO IS KEVIN DEMERS?

With Sixteen years of experience, Montréal’s Kevin Demers is no stranger to the hospitality industry. From his early days at Thursday’s, to bars on the Plateau and hotels and supper clubs in the Old Port, he has seen it all. In recent years, through competition Kevin has proven himself by being able to push the limits of his creativity and impress judges with his knowledge, skill, and charisma. Kevin has competed at the national level for Bacardi Legacy and Maker’s Mark Julep competitions and Three times at the Canadian finals of Bombay Sapphire’s Most Imaginative Bartender, where in 2014, Kevin was crowned National Champion.

Following his successes, in 2016 Kevin opened Montreal’s Coldroom bar in the Old Port. The Coldroom has quickly become a go-to destination for tourists, celebrities and locals alike. This year, to commemorate the city of Montreal’s 375th anniversary, Kevin launched the Montreal Cocktail Initiative. With his guidance, this initiative united fifteen of the city’s most influential bartending talent to create a modern-day classic representative of the great city of Montreal. The Montreal Cocktail can be seen on menus throughout Quebec and is quickly gaining recognition by communities around the world. Kevin’s dedication to the industry and continuing pursuit of perfection has won him the respect of the city’s top bartenders and industry professionals.
